I grew up about 45 minutes from New York City and then went to Boston for my undergraduate studies. I returned to New York after college attending New York University for medical school and remaining there for my residency. I joined a private practice in New York City after completion of my training and remained there for the next 15 years until I decided to move to Boulder in January of 2013. Prior to becoming a consultant for the STAR institute, I was in private practice in Broomfield. I have always tried to treat not just the medical needs of an individual child but to work closely with parents and the entire family to provide them with the knowledge and confidence to better understand their child and be the best parents they can be.
I chose to move to Colorado for the active lifestyle and in my time away from work I can usually be found outside either running, hiking or riding my bike.
