Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Specialty (Fluent in Spanish)

The STAR Institute, located in Centennial, CO, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. We specialize in children, adolescents, and adults with Sensory Processing Disorder and practice using a transdisciplinary clinical approach.  The STAR Frame of Reference requires training in SI + DIR/Floortime.  Clients include those with Sensory Processing Disorder, ASD, ADHD, learning differences, auditory processing disorders, motor coordination difficulties, and other developmental, learning, and behavioral difficulties. Must love to learn and want to be on the cutting edge of research and practice in SPD. Team building skills and collaborative style are crucial to success. Extensive mentorship and supervision are provided. Position entails participating in Multi-Disciplinary Evaluations, providing individual and group therapy services using the STAR PROCESS treatment method, documenting progress in treatment notes, parent education and coaching, and completing direct physician and teacher communication. Applicants must have five years of pediatric experience, SI certification and / OR DIR certification. Training in SCERTS, iLS, NDT, also a plus.  Salary commensurate with experience.

Must be eligible for OT registration in the state of Colorado and speak fluent English. Must be Spanish speaking.
