For example, assistance can be provided in conceptualizing a study, submitting an Institutional Review Board (IRB) application, analyzing and interpreting existing data, or participating in manuscript preparation through submission.  The hourly rate is typically $150 per hour. However, due to the current crisis, we are offering this consultation at a 50% reduction.

Supporting Product Developers

Product developers are often looking for a setting within which to explore the effectiveness of a new strategy, tool, or program for children with sensory integration and processing challenges. The STAR Institute research team is available for consultation, study design, and study implementation.  All requests will be evaluated to ensure they are consistent with the STAR Institute’s principles related to sensory, relationship, and regulation based. If a request is accepted, a proposal/budget will be agreed upon for the implementation of the project.
