In an effort to make education for parents and providers more accessible, we have scholarships available for individuals to attend our annual Sensory Symposium and Pre-Symposium events. Click here to view parent and family scholarship opportunities.
 

Scholarships for Professionals

Janet Wright Memorial Fund

This fund provides 2 to 5 practicing Occupational Therapists or Occupational Therapy students with 3 years' experience or less the opportunity to attend the annual STAR Sensory Symposium free of charge. Each year, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 recipients (depending on donation funding) will be granted free registration to attend the entire 2-Day Symposium.

Please note that this scholarship covers only the cost of the 2-Day Symposium Basic Package. It does not cover registration to Pre-Symposium Workshops or add-on options.

Please consider a donation to the Janet Wright Memorial Fund to ensure that more new and student Occupational Therapists are able to access education and training on SPD!

Scholarships for Parents/Families

Parent Workshop Scholarship

This fund gives families the opportunity to attend our annual Pre-Symposium Parent Workshop. This scholarship does not cover attendance to any other Symposium event.

Practicing Occupational Therapists, other treating professionals, and OT students are not eligible to receive the Parent Workshop Scholarship
